Task: Control and display at the same time
Canon’s professional Pan-Tilt-Zoom (PTZ) cameras deliver excellent video quality and are fully controllable. With support from Canon Europe, a proof-of- concept implementation was designed to demonstrate that both display and interactive control can be integrated into a single device using Panoo.
Result: Spin Your Cameras With Panoo
An interactive Panoo layout for touchscreen presents camera signals (NDI or RTSP) and allows control of the cameras via on-screen buttons. The implementation includes calling camera presets and enabling/disabling the auto-tracking function. “Spin your Canon PTZ Cameras with Panoo!” is now possible.
The camera API can easily be accessed via HTTP to adjust various camera settings and interactively control the cameras.
